Do you know why the most successful companies in the world make such a huge effort in ongoing marketing campaigns?

  • Bad reputation no more. Have you ever done something new? Let’s say you started skydiving lessons and you are enjoying it so much you keep doing it. Now, you have mentioned it to your friends once or twice, but it seems that they either don’t believe you or forget about it, and ask you over and over again ‘really? do you skydive?’ We know how frustrating this can be. Well, the same thing happens with your clients, most of them don’t even know the improvements you have made or the new products you offer. Clients’ perceptions tend to remain fixed. This is why it is very important to keep reminding them what you do and what new services/products you are offering.

How many times have you seen the word ‘happy’ in Coca-Cola’s ads? Let’s watch it one more time. This is their way of reinforcing their mission (and avoid any negativity associated with sugary drinks, such as Coca-Cola).

  • Ongoing marketing is the key to arresting bad reputation. Have you recently asked your clients about what your company does or what it has to offer? If you do, you might find that the perception they have might not be synced with what you are currently doing and offering. Imagine not watering your plants every day, they will forget how to grow and eventually start dying. Well, the same thing happens with your customers. Your company is constantly improving, and every year that passes brings your clients further and further out of sync, until one day no one understands what your company has become. Don’t waste all your hard work in improving your organisation without doing constant updates to your clients about the improvements.
  • Shape your customer base with ongoing marketing. Constant evaluation of your target audience is the key on the improvements and evolution of your company. Adjusting your design, strategy and messaging accordingly will define a ROI
  • Options, options, options. Pick and choose your customers? What? Impossible! Well, this is an amazing benefit ongoing marketing has, more demand for your offering than you can actually meet. You don’t have to imagine what it would be like to choose your most profitable clients, this can happen and you could have peace of mind that a waiting list will be there ready to pick up for when times get slower.
  • Company’s future? Lock it in! The most important reason for ongoing marketing is that it secures your company’s future. How many company’s have you seen dropping like flies? If you are still standing then this proves you are doing something good. Just remember that marketing creates business. If you think that you have too much going on right now and marketing is not priority then your business will drop, just like the other flies. Savvy business owners don’t leave their future up to chance; they are planting seeds now they can harvest next season.

Marketing is not something you do only when business is good, marketing should be done all the time so you always have business. Different strategies can be put in place and they can adjust to your budget. Contact us today to see how we can help you with the perfect marketing plan today.
