Overview
The Australasian Mine Safety Journal is published by APRS Pty. Ltd. The publication is produced as a perfect bound high gloss publication (A4 sized) in full colour and is also produced as an interactive eBook.
The Journal specifically targets mine safety decision makers and provides comprehensive editorial content on the current trends and activities associated with mine safety across Australia.
Over the last fifteen years maintaining and improving mine safety has become a non-negotiable characteristic of responsible mining companies throughout Australia.
With the increase in mining activity and limited numbers of personnel throughout the region, suppliers increasingly find it difficult to reach the decision makers on the ground who influence where the hundreds of millions of safety dollars are spent.
Distribution & Readership
The Australasia Mine Safety Journal has become the regions key mine safety information provider that is distributed to more than 3500 mine management, mine safety and environment professionals throughout the region every quarter.
Some of the editorial to be covered in the summer 2012 edition will include:
- Effective health communication in mining
- Road safety audits on mining operations
- Fluid power: Using MDG 41 to promote hose safety
- The path to a safety culture
- Slips, trips, and falls
- Products and services guide
- Melbourne Safety Show
- Conference coverage - Safety for the Resources Sector
- Workplace amenities and first aid
